Dr. Yana Markidan, MD

I cannot speak highly enough about Dr. Markidan. She is patient, knowledgeable, and understanding. During my delivery, the nurses said how lucky I was to have her as my doctor, I couldn’t agree more.

My wife had a c section with her. She did an excellent job. We found her very kind and caring.

I have no words for her But in one word i should describe she is the BEST DOCTOR so far i have come across. She really knows how to calm u down and make you feel comfortable, Listens to you very patiently ,gives maximum amount of time to you to understand your case and answer your questions in detail. Would highly recommend her and you would feel u are in the best hands

I was a few weeks away from due date shortly after Hurricane Sandy hit. Iâ??d started spotting and was very nervous about going into labor. But I was reluctant to bother the physicians at such a turbulent time. Eventually I caved when my husband urged me to get in touch with the on call doctor. I was lucky it was Dr. Markidan. A few of the docs in this practice donâ??t seem particularly thrilled when theyâ??re bothered with phone calls while theyâ??re on call. But Dr. Markidan was patient, sympathetic, informative and speaking to her calmed me down considerably. In the hospital after giving birth she was also exceptionally attentive and provided great information.

Dr. Markidan was a refreshing change from other doctors I have seen in the past (at other practices). She was an absolute pleasure to speak to, answered all of my questions thoroughly. I would certainly reccomend her to anyone in the area in need of a new Dr.
