Dr. Yvonne R. Lowne-Chase

This doctor is not concerned at ALL about her patients. She didn’t listen. She’s more concerned with getting through her day.

I have been a patient of hers for a number of years. She doesn't respond well to complaints or concerns and did not take into consideration her patients response. Given that I have developed significant health concerns, I would not go to her.

Though I believe Dr. Lowne is competent, she appears to lack empathy for situations patients may be going through. Her bedside manner is lacking and she seems removed and disconnected in her approach. Also appears distracted at times. Her remote interactions leave me questioning how supportive she would be in a real crisis.

Dr. Lowne is a great physician. She spends quality time with you and makes sure that you understand your diagnosis.

Talking to Dr. Lowne is like talking to a good friend. She really cares about her patients.

Dr. Lowne may be a good doctor, but I was not comfortable with her. At the few appointments I had with her, I felt like she was "phoning it in." When she asked questions, it felt like she was reading from a script, not like she was tuned in to what was going on with me. Information I expected her to ask about, she didn't; information I expected her to convey, I practically had to dig out of her. Perhaps she is better with others, but I found her bedside manner very off-putting. I had just received a distressing diagnosis from a specialist, and when I mentioned it to her, looking for guidance and reassurance, she looked stricken--like she was planning what to wear to my funeral. When I asked, based on her expression, if perhaps I should have been more worried than the specialist led me to believe, she said, "No, I've just never heard of that condition before." Well, she scared the heck out of me with her reaction to it. I thought maybe that was an isolated incident, but… nope--something similar happened at a subsequent (and my last) appointment with her. As I said, she may be a fine doctor--but she wasn't the right doctor for me.

She's very attentive and spends time speaking with you. The appointment may run long but I prefer that over a doctor that spends two minutes with me and hands me a perscription.

Best Doctor ever

She gives you the time you deserve. Talks directly and honestly to you. She understands you as a "whole" person. Always responds to your needs. My husband and I both love her
