Dr. Subramanyam Kommi Naidu, MD

My husband has seen this doctor twice and we both are very pleased with him and his office staff. The wait over all wasn't very long, he listened and the ladies in the office are wonderful. When ever I've called with a question of any kind, they have called me back the same day and did whatever I needed to be done. Couldn't ask for more.

I have had several problems with Dr. Naidu. I'm there at least 1.5 hours before I'm seen. When I was diagnosed with thyroid cancer, there was no empathy or caring in the diagnosis delivery or treatment. I asked for follow-up tests, and he wouldn't do it, even though my insurance covered it. I feel that my cancer is not being treated as the potential life ender that it is, and I'm going to find another doctor that will actually care about more than the fee paid by my insurance.

Very upset with this doctor trying to get information from him concerning my labs medication anything else is like pulling teeth seems to have a certain disdain when treating me I am hoping it is not a racial thing but I tend to think it is(since I am black) I am changing doctors to one I can communicate with

Personality is cold and condescending. Absolutely no empathy or even attempt made to relate to me as a personand an individual. Treated cancer diagnosis as casually as a common cold.I wondered if this doctor might have some disdain for african Americans. His 1st comment on meeting me was to tell me his daughetr went to Harvard. What does this have to do with thyroid cancer? My daughter went to Columbia, what does that have to do with my thyroid cancer or my future wuth this diagnosis.

GREAT,COMPASSIONATE,CARING, has shown so much concern...I have no problems with Dr Naidu...have had terrible experiences prior with others requesting repeated lab work,not discussing results..Dr N explains in laymen terms wht I need to know..excelent bedside manners. I give him a 10+

Dr. Naidu is great. His staff on the other hand is not very friendly, very difficult to contact, and does not return calls.

Dr. Naidu seems to be a good that knows what he's talking about. But I would say he don't spend a lot of time with me, he's in the room for maybe 10 minutes and then he is gone. The nurse or assistant is there more with me and seems to care more about my situation.

I have had three visits to this doctor after being referred by my family physician. I saw him on the first visit only because the nurse practitioner called him to consult and confirm her findings. It seems my care is totally in the nurse's hands. I have good insurance and I have to pay some out of pocket so I think he should give me the courtesy and care of his expertise. I have a friend with the same diagnosis and her care with another doctor seems so much better. I have an appointment coming up and I plan to find another endocrinologist who has time to see me.
