Dr. Mark Horowitz

the front desk person Jessica is very unpleasant and always has a very angry look. she clearly dislikes her job and is quite rude to the patients. Dr.Horowitz also is very unpleasant and never has a smile on his face. If these things matter to you then I suggest you find another practice. They are average in terms of treating patients but if you call to follow up on results, first you will deal with an annoyed front desk and then an annoyed doctor.

after a 45 minute wait, asked receptionist when dr. would be available, to which she snipped, "there are 2 people ahead of you. you can reschedule if you want." if he can't be bothered to hire a competent receptionist, why would i?

I've been a regular patient of Dr. Horowitz for more than 8 years. I highly recommend him, as he truly cares about his patients and gives them the time needed to discuss details. Both of his NYC locations (downtown and midtown) have an excellent staff of long-term employees. I am always treated with a great deal of respect and honesty. I've been to several doctors over the 20 years that I have lived in NYC, but find Dr. Horowitz and his staff to be the very best.
