He completed his residency in General Surgery at Cornell-New York Hospital, followed by his residency and fellowship training in Urology at the Medical Center.Dr. Romas serves as a reviewer to many scientific journals, and has authored many articles, editorials, and book chapters. He is a board certified urologist who has been in practice for 44 years. Prior to joining Columbia University Medical Center, he was the chairman of Urology in St. Luke's Hospital from 1984 to 2014. His experience and his clinical focus include adult general urologic care, stone disease and urological oncology.
