Dr. Miroslav L Djordjevic, MD

Out of nowhere one night, Dr. Miroslav Djordjevic calls me at 9:37 PM at night and tells me that he won’t be operating on me unless I see 3 psychiatrists who are MDs, for a minimum of 6 months each, despite the fact that I already have 2 mental health letters by license New York therapists, and a letter from a nurse. He told me and I quote, “Social Workers mean nothing”. He then demanded that I find a rectal surgeon that he can use and if I’m unable to, then “Come to my country and pay me”. These surgeons are affiliated with Mount Sinai Hospital. Dr. Miroslav Djordjevic comes to the United States periodically, but he called me from inside New York, on his cellphone, to basically tell me that even though I have mental health letters and in pain, he refuses to provide me with adequate care and a list of confirmed surgeons who may be able to close my wound and remove the hygienic issue colon tissue that’s spilling out of my genital area. I then terminated the relationship on the basis… that he is refusing to provide the care I need, but I don’t know of any other surgeons who are qualified, other than Dr. Miroslav Djordjevic and Dr. Peter Wiklund. I’m not sure what to do now.
