Dr. Aaron A. Bare, MD

He came in already set in his mind (despite the fact I had done everything I could on my end) that I was too young for a knee replacement. I have severe arthritis in my knee and he told me to learn how to manage it. I’m 54 & can barely walk. My quality of life at this age is not good because of it. He suggested a Breg brace & said if it doesn’t work he “might” consider surgery but then I will get what I get? What the heck does that mean? No bed side manner & is not a good listener. His mind was made up & he did not care how I felt. He came off super arrogant. I will NEVER go back to him or this place again. Time for a second opinion.

Worst doctor ever!!! I saw Dr. Bare for a shoulder injury he never did an exam on me and was so arrogant. Sadly, no bedside manner was found here, and would not listen to a word of his patient's complaints. Save your time and money..find a caring MD.

Dr. Bare did an amazing job with my total reverse shoulder replacement. I was pain free within 3 days and out to lunch on the 4th. He guided me through the procedure and I knew what to expect. But, I have to admit he exceeded my expectations. Within two weeks I was driving and returned to my daily routine.

Dr Bare is one of the best doctors in Illinois. I had a few surgeries with him and I highly recommend him.

Dr Bare is the best! He conducted hand surgery over a decade ago and now I have full use of both hands. Since then I have seen him twice for other situations and he has been very professional, personable and knowledgeable. I will be his patient concerning any conditions that he treats for life!!

Dr. Bare and staff did a fantastic job of caring for my son. He had a ACL knee injury which was repaired and he is fully back to himself and now playing sports in college. Nearly my whole family see him. His PA Dan is also great.

Shoulder specialist, Mr. Bare is a good and dependable doctor. Little costly but service was good, one of my friends underwent a clavicle surgery from there.

Had a nasty hand injury and was referred to Dr. Bare. He did an honest evaluation and performed surgery with results better than promised. Still healing up but very happy with results so far. His assistant was fantastic, as was the therapy staff.
