Dr. Mary Kathryn Mulcahey, MD

Dr. Mulcahey got me right as rain without surgery. She will do what is necessary to get you to your best capabilities. If you are looking for someone you can trust, she is that person.

This doctor did an arthroscopic knee surgery for me when now with hindsight, a new MRI, and a new orthopedic surgeon, I believe she shouldn't have done it with the amount of damage there was to my cartilage behind my knee cap. My knee was actually worse after surgery, and she told me point blank, there's nothing I can do, and referred me to someone else in her practice. Who also told me there was nothing they could do, after he gave me steroid shots. When I went to my follow-up appointment after my surgery, I had a tiny part of my stitch sticking out, both her and the nurse tried to pull it out but nowhere in their office did they have small tweezers to do it (how?!) So even though I said I was uncomfortable, they sent me home with scissors and told me to do it myself. She's a fast talker and doesn't like to spend time with her patients, it's so clear to me that she is trying to make as much money as possible and get through as many patients as possible. Please, don't go through what I… went through. Find a different surgeon. Save yourself cost, pain, unnecessary surgeries and heartache.

They don't come anymore PROFESSIONAL Dr. Mulcahey and her staff EXCELLENCE is a big word that comes with huge rewards FOR the patient (ME). If you want thoroughness, explanation and options that you can understand choose Dr Mary Mulcahey. Your body deserves the BEST!!!!!

I was fortunate enough to have had Dr. Mulcahey assigned to treat me at the New Orleans Veteran's Hospital for an injured left knee. Dr. Mulcahey showed great interest and compassion as she performed her examination of my knee. I found her to be extremely professional and knowledgeable in the care needed to get me back on my feet. She took time to answer all of my questions and to explain what kinds of treatments that I may possibly need to take care of my injuries. She also took the time to check my neck and right shoulder after I told her that they were both hurting me. I do highly recommend Dr. Mulcahey to anyone seeking help with a sports type injury.
