lot of time with me and was very thorough in discussion, reviewing medications, answering questions, explanations and with the examination. I left with great confidence after the appointment.

I have had issues with my surgery for a PEG tube since day one and he literally has not done anything about it or to help the situation. He is very dismissive and does not care. Once he does surgery he is out! He says just wait and it will get better and now 4 weeks later it is still the same. Very painful and it is leaking. This is not normal. Stay away. Other doctors even say he blotched my surgery because he made the hole in my stomach too big. Makes me very sad. I hope he doesn’t ruin someone else’s life

Returned to him after he sent me for an operation. After the operation I returned to him for follow-up weeks later per the advice of the surgeon. Told him the high number of bowel movements and pain I had been having every day. Told him 10 - 20 and one day it was 40. He laughed at me and said, "What did you do, count? I told him yes that I kept track because this was a huge problem and the reason I made an appointment with him. I asked if there was some kind of test he could do to find out what was wrong, maybe an infection or something. He absolutely refused to do any tests... refused! I never went back to him. What in the heck in that guy doing in the medical profession? What a horrible experience!

Not kind, not compassionate, nat patient. Very dismissive and unfriendly.

Very cold. Spent more time on his computer then Listening to my signs and symts. I would not recommend him to anyone I know.

I've seen Dr.Benson twice. No diagnostic tests were done during my first visit - just guessing. So the problem still exists. The second time I got more serious problems which worsen over time. Endoscopy was done, no definitive diagnosis. Doctor called me and said that there is nothing he can really suggest me to do. I can't believe I was waiting for 2.5 months to get this result. Now I can't eat, have constant upper abdominal pain and NO SUGGESTIONS from THIS GASTROENTEROLOGIST.
