Aaron Desai, MD

Dr. Aaron Desai specializes in neurology with advanced training in neurocritical care. He completed his residency at Wayne State University School of Medicine in 2019 and pursued fellowship training at Baylor College of Medicine, finishing in 2021. His internship was completed at Detroit Medical Center in 2016. Dr. Desai holds board certifications in neurology from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology, earned in 2019, and recently achieved certification in neurocritical care from the same board in 2024. He provides care in English.

Dr. Desai practices at JFK University Medical Center and sees patients at the JFK New Jersey Neuroscience Institute in Edison, New Jersey. His expertise includes treating patients who have experienced strokes and managing complex breathing difficulties that require intensive neurological care. He performs comprehensive blood work to monitor patient health and uses specialized cooling treatments to protect brain function during critical illness.
