I've been calling for 4vdays trying to schedule my hip replacement no call back nothing and im in pain ... I suppose I will just go tho the hospital.

Dr Forbes gave me my life back. After undergoing three other knee surgeries and two new implants in two years, I was still experiencing pain. The Doctors in Los Angeles where I live couldn't figure out why the knee replacement implants kept loosening and now wanted to do yet a third new implant without trying to find out why my other implants kept moving. I had had it! After two years out of work and in constant pain, I needed a Doctor who I could trust would help me find the cause of this issue. I am originally from the east coast and have a lot of family in New Jersey, so I decided to see if I could find a great Doctor in either NY or NJ. Enter Dr Aaron Forbes and Tri County Orthopedics. I flew to NJ and was able to get an appointment with Dr Forbes who I had now read more about and knew he may be the Doctor to finally help me. After meeting Dr Forbes, he said to me he thought the reason the implants kept moving was I had an infection which in turn deteriorates the bones, thus… loosening the implant. After taking knee fluid and blood, his suspicions were confirmed. My first surgery was to remove my old implant and put an antibiotic knee spacer in my knee for three months while on IV antibiotics, laid up in a rehab facility. After the three months he retested me and the infection was gone. We then scheduled my last and final knee replacement where a totally new knee was put in. Its been two weeks since the final surgery and so far I feel amazing. I started physical therapy and the therapist said my knee and range of motion are better than she usually sees after two weeks, also taking into account its been five surgeries and two years of this. Dr Forbes gave me my life back! I can't thank him and the awesome staff at Tri County Orthopedics for everything. I am hitting the physical therapy hard and listening to everything they tell me, as I want to finally walk normal again without a cane or walker after two years., I still need my left knee replaced, but need to wait a while; but you can be sure I will be flying back to NJ to see Dr Forbes and have my surgery done by him. There is no one else I trust to do it! Thanks Dr Forbes....for everything!

I had a totally successful anterior total hip replacement. Dr. Forbes showed himself to be highly skilled, caring, an excellent listener, awesome surgeon and person from start to finish. He practices anterior total hip replacement which has the faster recovery compared to posterior hip replacement. As a woman, I felt totally at ease. I would recommend Dr. Forbes to anyone and everyone. I cannot say enough good about him and also about Morristown Memorial Hospital.
