Dr. Abdul S Soudan, MD

I have been seeing Dr Soudan for around 14 years now. He does care about his patients and he tries to be funny when he is doing a procedure. I have a long chronic issue with my back and bad arthritis. I am not the easiest patient to deal with and he always understands me. I usually don't leave reviews because I don't care enough normally. He is honest and will try to help you if he is able to. I trust him. Liz Fret.

Dr. Soudan is a Great Doctor. He cares about his patients and their health. He's very pleasant, caring, understanding and outstanding professional. He always ask about your family and their well being as well. He takes time out to explain your diagnosis and his plan in treating your pain. He's a great listener he knows exactly what to do about your pain and will try every option available to to do that. He's very funny and will make you laugh. I can truly say I have found the Best Pain Management Doctor.. Dr. Soundan. He has the Best Medical Staff who's very Respectful, Friendly who cares about the patients. I'm happy I have chosen Pain Management Specialist in Columbia. He is the Best Doctor.

Doesn’t care what pain you have... I’ve been seeing Drs for over 20 years for chronic pain... pain management for over 10 at the same Drs office. Broke over 35 bones in my life, torn ligaments, you name it. Broken back twice within 3 years in 99’ and 2002’. He comes in the room and tells me I’m faking and that he had a broken arm playing football within 2 minutes meanwhile my whole right leg is numb and I’m in excruciating pain. Been unable to work for 4 weeks because of chronic pain. Seen 3 surgeons and they all suggest surgery but when I call their patients they tell me not to do it hence the only reason I’m still seeing pain management Drs. Looks at my 10 year prescription history and tells me I don’t need any of that. I must have the wrong shade of skin or the tattoos blew him away... either way I’d advise to never use this doctor for anything...he is very self absorbed and narcissistic. No one cares about your broken arm...I care about walking and living my life again and clearly… you do not. Wayne Hall

Dr Soudan is caring, understanding and very good at what he does. He does not speak over your head and he is not the typical Dr that talks down to you. He is funny and relates to any patient. He is in tune with what is happening during your procedure. I would recommend him to anyone and I have done for yours. He cares about his patients. This is a very honest review and I am not the easiest patient to deal with when I am in pain.

I think the world of Dr.Sudan. I recommend him to anybody that tells me they have back pain. I wont see anyone else.

Dr. Soudan is very knowledgeable, sensitive to my health care concerns and caring about the efficacy of my treatment.

I am a long term patient of Dr. Soudan and have had six vertebrae 'fixed' by back surgeons. There was substantial pain and I was referred to a list of pain management doctors. The first five wanted me on drug and exercise programs. By the time I got to Dr. Soudan I was taking three drugs a day for pain and a fourth drug if needed. Dr. Soudan found the actual problem within 2 minutes of meeting me, explained it to me in plain English, and got me down to one pill a day if needed. Great doctor! Great Staff!

Dr. Soudan is a patient-minded healthcare provider. I believe he will help me resolve my issues. He is an outstanding listener and his explanations are thorough and clear. I have been to see him in the past and I am optimistic that he will find out what is causing me to have the issues I am currently experiencing.
