Awful. I'm distressed just from talking to this woman. She was dismissive of my concerns just by listening to the sound of my voice...I literally hadn't said anything yet. Then she skeptically asked me a bunch of personal questions that I felt uncomfortable answering. And last, she almost reluctantly said, "well, I might have something Friday..." Such an asshole. Steer clear.

Dr. Atkins is kind of eccentric (reminds me of my professors from college), but she really knows her stuff and is very helpful in understanding kids.

Exceedingly knowledgeable and helpful regarding working with and understanding children.

Dr Atkins would spend the first 15mins of my appointment complaining about her responsibilities and sometimes about her other patients. She displayed more judgemental qualities than compassionate qualities. She also complained about her private life as well as her working relationship with the other therapist in her office. The only good thing I can say is that she showed me how not to be by setting an abundantly negative example.
