Dr. Abraham Riad Totah, MD

I have seen many neurologists and most claim to know everything. The fact is, when you have a neurological disease, there are no cures, many unknowns, and nothing is textbook. Dr. Totah is by far the best because he understands this and he has the determination and patience to study what each of his patients are going through.

I am a patient of Dr Totah and have found him kind and thorough. He is a no nonsense type of Doctor but will explore every avenue possible to help you. He is honest and sincere and includes you in his decision making so you don't feel like an idiot. He also explains his reasoning for those decisions which I found very refreshing compared to past experiences with other doctors.

Never touched or asked questions about my daughter. She is disabled. He saw her jerking in her bed and from standing from the wall He said she was having seizures. and he would suggest putting on her seizure medication. Wrong. It was not seizures at all. She was just playing. Then he saw her walking, in which I was trying to explain that she was in pain. again he said it was seizures. After taking her to Tampa General Hospital, which did tests and examined her. She had H Polari. He was rude and bedside mannor horrific.
