Dr. Ada Chinyere Onyeagocha, MD

Dr Onyeagocha, her staff, and Kaiser have kept me alive for many years. She is kind and is a good doctor. She might be typing into the computer, but she is listening to you and engaging you at the same time. I have never felt she was rushing to get me out of the office. She listens to and answers all my questions. When I was in the hospital even though I was there from another doctor, she stopped by to see me. She. quickly responds to my emails. She cares about her patients. I would highly recommend her.

I met Dr. Onyeagocha 15 years ago while awaiting a surgery from another doctor. Because of her caring and support at that time,I requested she become my personal doctor. Over these past 15 years, she has provided me with excellent care. Her ability to diagnose my different ailments and treatments has kept me in good health. She always provides me with ample amount of time for consultation regarding my inquiries re; my health. She is very easy to communicate with and has a very calming manner which has been helpful. I consider her one of the finest doctors I have ever had.

I feel bad about the previous reviews; it is almost as if they were placed intentionally to maligne this doctor. There should be better screening of what is placed on this site as truth.

All the good doctor's are not accepting new patients so you get stuck with Dr's like Onyeagocha. She rarely looks up from her frantic typing into the computer system and when she does stop typing it's to argue and deny requests for medications or tests. I didn't realize she was a homeopath as she pushes herbal therapy regardless if a pharmaceutical drug will help your symptoms. Her herbal remedies and snake potions delay treatment thereby causing patients to suffer longer. Perhaps that's not a bad thing though as she incorrectly diagnosed me and had me using a potentially dangerous Rx for the wrong thing. Perhaps that's why she's so keen on natural remedies -- because she prescribes the wrong meds when she does give you meds. She's defensive and nothing more than a sink hole on your road to staying or getting yourself well. Third World care from a Third World doctor. If she had to earn her patients rather than patients being assigned to her by Kaiser, she'd be out of business… in no time. She's a good typist so perhaps she'd do well as a medical records transcriptionist? I would advise you to roll the dice and pick whatever other loser is accepting new patients.

not sure how she got the previous high rating. but she CLEARLY misdiagnosed me; i asked for a variety of tests to be performed due to my condition and she refused, thus prolonging my treatment and dxand appeared to not want to address some of my questions as it relates to my symptoms. this again is arrogance, i don't mind it, but it should be followed up by knowledge, by which i clearly did not receive - BE AWARE
