Dr. Adam Dimitrov, MD

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Dimitrov for 10+ years. 18 months ago I moved my parents closer to help care for them and needed a primary care doctor. I was pretty sure Dr. D wasn’t taking new patients but I asked anyway. His response was “absolutely, I’ll take them.” He was so kind to my very talkative dad (stories for days) and my mom with serious cognitive issues. He was thorough in review of their medical history and followed up with their hometown doctors for records. He identified the various specialists we would need and made all the referrals. I highly recommend Dr. Dimitrov.

I love having Dr Dimitrov as my primary care physician. He is well informed and easy to relate to. His staff are the best!

I was a patient of Dr. Dimitrov while his practice was in Maryland at Franklin Square. The four stars aren't high enough. Not only is he the most professional family doctor I have ever had, he genuinely CARES about his patients. You really do feel like a friend and a plus in my book is that he has a great sense of humor! My "beyond the call of duty" experience is easy. Dr. D. had the unenviable, uncomfortable task of telling me that my very 1st mammogram was positive for breast cancer. He called me as soon as he knew rather that asking me to come to his office. Anyone who has heard those words knows what happens next...a sharknado in your brain. You're not capable of much in the way of rational thinking, It's all still a blur. To my amazement, he had also taken the time to phone the head of the breast surgeons, made my appointment, and had the nurse navigator call me to hold my hand and take it from there. Now working with the oncology department, most GP's would have washed their… hands and moved on to the next patient. Dr. D calls and checks on me, he emailed me, and even went so far as to do research with a couple of his colleagues in the oncology field in order to answer a question I had about my treatment. The resulting conversation took place on his own time, calling me at home, explained every detail, made sure I understood everything in the hour long conversation. Dedicated to his patients? I say he is indeed Simply the Best. P.S. If he comes back up to Baltimore one more time and doesn't call me, I will come back here and delete this comment.

Dr. Dimitrov is the only doctor that has ever called me the next day to see how I am doing! He is always caring and if he can't solve my problem he has no problem seeking input from other doctors who may specialize in a specific area. He saved my life. I can not recomend him highly enough!
