Dr. Adam R Riordan, DO

I was NOT impressed. Dr. Riordan does his surgeries at the Guthrie Ithaca City Harbor facility. I arrived for my upper endoscopy procedure on time. I had to wait an hour-and-a-half before being wheeled into the procedure room. There were no explanations or even a hint of apology for the unacceptable delay. While I was waiting, more and more patients were in checked in by the nurses and everybody was waiting. The doctor goes from one procedure to another and spends very little time with the patients. I felt like I was on the assembly line of a factory and not in a professional surgical space. The doctor should do a much better job of scheduling and managing his patient load instead of making his patients wait an indecently long long time and waste their time.

Today I had my first colonoscopy...Dr Riordan & his staff were wonderful...they explained everything that would happen & they had warm blankets which actually relaxed me even more...I felt no pain at all & I took a 20 min nap & the rest of the day I'm alert & resting....I hope this review will be helpful to anyone that needs a colonoscopy but is fearful
