Dr. Adam Neil Wilson, MD

Called two times days apart at the advice of the er physician to schedule a follow up appointment for an extensive hand laceration. I was told both times that they are short staffed, and it will take an undisclosed amount of time to get an appointment. I am in pain, and they are unwilling to help. I am looking for another physician with a capable support staff willing to help me. Do not waste your time like I did. If I could give zero stars I would however, this rating system does not permit.

Appointment was at 3:00pm, didn't see Dr. Wilson until 4:15pm, spoke with me for 5-10 minutes and we both agreed best treatment was rest since my collar bone had a very slight fracture. His office charged me >$3,000 for the "resetting of my collar bone". This never happened and when I confronted Dr. Wilson politely (who oddly enough lives in my apartment building), he said he would retract the claim and never did. I was then forced to file a complaint with UHC who ended up ruling in his favor. Not a good person.

On a Thursday night I brought my husband to the hospital to find what we need was a hand specialist. My husband had ruptured sagittal band of his hand. it was diagnosed by another doctor on Friday saying he need to addressed immediately however that doctor was leaving town and referred us to Adam Wilson . We called Friday to find the front desk staff considered it a second opinion and couldn't see him for 13 days! I stressed the magnitude of the situation and they couldn't care less. In the background i heard "just hang up" by a male voice. Perhaps Adam Wilson? I wont use the term doctor her doesn't deserve it! No compassion what so ever. I stated its not a second opinion, its a referral! couldn't care

I was referred to Dr. Wilson by a friend. He was everything that she said he would be - smart, insightful and very approachable. Although busy he did not make me feel rushed. Great doctor.

What a refreshing experience to be cared for by a surgeon who is kind, compassionate, attentive and skilled. I was operated on by Dr. Wilson earlier this year and highly recommend him.

He was one of the few physicians who took the time to speak to me every day during my hospitalization. He was not inpatient, unlike some other doctors I encountered and he answered all my questions. Very helpful and intelligent surgeon.

After having a very uncomfortable experience with another orthopedic surgeon Dr. Wilson was a blessing. Kind, patient and intelligent. A true find!!
