Dr. Adrian C Gately, MD

Our son has been with Dr. Gately all but 4 weeks of his 18 year life. We came to Gately after not one but two bad experiences with a well regarded female pediatrician in Park Slope. We have been extremely happy with Dr. Gatelys care of our son and recommend him to anyone who will listen. Gatelys office is good about fitting you in when there is a medical need. Office waits are reasonable and generally short unless there is some illness going around. The Doctor is very knowledgeable and stays up to date. His tone is very easy going although he will revisit his suggestions if he thinks you are not listening or have not given a particular issue proper, balanced, consideration. He is very good about presenting all sides of an issue such as vaccinations. The actual time spent with the Doctor is usually longer than you would expect as he is very good about connecting the dots between the last appointment and whatever future plans you may have or be considering. He is very courteous to the… parents, the child patient, and this was important to us, the child care provider or nanny. Off hour calls are responded to quickly and he is good with follow-up calls as needed.
