It is amazing to me that I was asked to take two additional tests other than a yearly female exam, all with “normal” results, apparently to make sure nothing is wrong. Well, those tests indicated nothing was wrong, yet when adverse effects take place from new hormone replacement medication occurs, I am delivered the news via cell phone from a nurse that surgery is indicated. I originally attempted to contact the Dr., over the phone, but they suggested leaving a voice message for her nurse instead. Originally, she said she would call me. Very disappointed in the entire process from beginning to end. I absolutely do understand that the Dr’s have to make sure they are do everything possible in order to be covered for insurance purposes. You know, by running all the tests available in order to rule out all the possible things that could be wrong. But in my particular case, she discovered nothing wrong, yet kept suggesting test after test. When do the tests end and she says she… has no clue what’s wrong? When I quit going back, I guess. Back to the drawing board for me.
