Dr. Aelita Khachatrian, MD

I had an appointment today. I even called to confirm time yesterday, and it was never mentioned that they needed to change my appointment for a “meeting.” I scheduled this appointment over a month ago, and showed up to a locked door. Then a patient was leaving so I came in and was made to wait 20 minutes before someone came out. I was told that they supposedly called me to change my appointment for this meeting and the dr might give up her lunch break and meeting to see me. Lady returned with attitude saying everyone left and I could come back later in the afternoon. Mind you I paid for parking at this point but I was supposed to rearrange my whole schedule for a Dr who couldn’t even be considerate enough to be there for my appointment that I scheduled well in advance. Her office staff was super rude, and this was my first time seeing the Dr. Don’t even bother with this Dr since they have no respect for their patient’s time or money. I was even told that I must of gave them the wrong… number so it was my fault the Dr wasn’t there to see me.

I found this Dr. and I loved her, she ordered a lot of tests and lab work. Once all was completed I found out that she has left with no forwarding phone number. I am very upset about this. I really felt like this Dr. cared, but I guess I was wrong since she left with not a word. Seeking a new Rheumatologist int he Thousand Oaks area.

When I heard Dr. K left Dr. Cohn's office in Thousand Oaks, I literally cried for a few days and get teary eyed thinking of her departure. She was the ONLY MD in years that gave me hope that we would figure out my true medical condition, with a clear plan of action. Now I've returned to feeling like a number. I'm hoping one day I'm able to track D.r Khachatrian down. She was so compassionate, knowledgeable, and determined to obtain a proper diagnosis for me, in turn overall better health. I really miss her!
