Dr. Ahed Hanna-Kastoun, MD

I can't speak to the abilities of this doctor but I can say that Sylvia from her office staff is incredibly rude and has no compassion what so ever. WHAT HAPPENED: I called to make an appointment for my wife because she kept passing out and losing her memory. They gave me an appointment over a month away even though I begged them to let the doctor see her sooner. Her condition got so bad I had no choice but to take her to the hospital to expedite the process. Then I got a phone call the morning of her appointment, from Sylvia, to ask why my wife didn't come in and I told them she was hospitalized. Instead of telling me, they are sorry or they understand, Sylvia gets upset at me and asks why I didn't have the courtesy to call and cancel the appointment AND HANGS UP ON MY FACE!! Dr Hanna might be the best Neurologist in the world but with staff like that her practice is doomed to fail.

I had a slight tremor that had become more severe, so my G.P. referred me to Dr. Hanna to ensure that it was not more serious than an 'Essential Tremor'. Dr. Hanna asked me questions, attentively listened to my responses, tested my physical skills. She confirmed the diagnosis of Essential Tremour and started a treatment of medication, starting at the lowest dosage, and slowly increasing the doasage until I was able to function normally (simple things like eat soup from a spoon, sign my name and have it legible, and stop feeling like I was falling apart). I do not know why a few others have written negative reviews. I value the medical professions who care and take the time to listen and help their patients achieve their best selves. I've been in her care since my hospitalization. She listens and gives actual, real advice and arranges for treatments that make a difference.

Dr. Hanna is negligent to a patient's needs and concerns and has no time to explain tests or care for her patients. What's worse, her staff is discriminatory, condescending and dismissive. Utterly disgusted....

Dr. Hannah, and I use that title great disregard. Belongs on the Worst Drs. List?? I will be contacting the Board of Medical Examiners and AMA , to file a formal a complaint. Her lack of Medical knowledge or there of is that of a great concern to me. Caution ?? From the moment you walk into her dirty office, rude staff , overcharges insurance co-pay. She offers absolutely No Help, speaking over you without answering any questions asked. She can't answer them because of her lack if medical knowledge?? She needs to be brought before the board and have a re-evaluation of her medical qualifications.?? A Warning To All ...?? She most likely bought her 4-5 star rating. I and many others feel the exact same way?? I just so happen to have a long standing medical background and I would never send her a referral.

Dr Hanna was very professional,personable and extremely knowledgeable. She administered my nerve test in such a masterful way that I honestly did not experience any discomfort. I would recommend her to any of my friends or family anytime.

Dr. Hanna is amazing. She cares about her patients, spends time understanding what is going on and is very knowledgeable as a doctor.

Dr. Hanna was exceptional. She is very thorough, has a great bedside manner and takes great care of her patients.
