Dr. Ahmed Issam Eldin Badr, MD

Dr. Bade is the most uncaring, rude, arrogant physician I have ever encountered. During my recent hospital stay, not only did he talk down to me, and was very rude, he was also either ignorant or just uncaring. The release orders that he wrote up not only included a whole cocktail of medications that I haven't taken years, but they also directed that I stop taking all of my supplements (iron, calcium, vitamin D3, vitamin B12, etc.). I take these because I've had the gastric sleeve surgery. He also prescribed that I start taking 81mg aspirin. After the sleeve surgery I was told to never take aspirin again.

Dr. Badr want to put a feeding tube in my 92 year-old father. I told him my dad didn’t want a feeding tube and it was backed up with a POLST. A week later, I learned that Dr. Badr had ordered feeding tube to be put down my dad’s throat. I told them to stop and drove to the hospital. When Dr. Badr came into my dad’s room, yelled at me for stopping the procedure. He told me he “didn’t need the family’s permission to put in a feeding tube”. He has no regard for the wishes of the patient.

Too quick to take drastic measures. Makes diagnosis without all the facts in hand.

I don't understand the negative reviews. I suppose it sometimes comes down to how a patient treats the doctor and employees. It must be difficult for the doctor and staff to deal with loud, rude and aggressive people all day long. I've been coming to this office long enough to know that the doctor and staff try their best to accommodate patients to the best of their ability. If you are not happy coming to Dr. Badr's office, try another office and see how long it takes before you are asked to leave. Patients need to learn patience. Healthcare is going downhill due to government regulations. Give it another year and you will really have something to whine about!

I would like to first start off saying that this Dr is a compassionate, good Dr and kind man, however the two women in his office particularly Denise is an absolute atrocious human being, whether in person or on the phone she lacks communication skills, disregard for knowledge of her job and most importantly has the poorest attitude of any human I have ever come across... There are plenty of pulmonary doctors out there please refrain from allowing yourself such displeasure of the staff....

very rude and unknowledgeable staff playing doctor themselves, giving wrong information often. No I do not have a grudge. Dr. Badr misdiagnosed me and that caused me great difficulties.

By far, it's been the worst experience ever

I had a great experience in Dr. Badr's office. The office staff is highly educated and professional--unlike most other offices in this low income, crime-ridden area. The doctor will personally ask patients who are rude and threatening to leave the waiting room. (This happened while I was in the office). I find this refreshing since most doctors don't care about their staff or the comfort of the patients. The doctor not only diagnosed my lung problem correctly but he also ordered the appropriate tests. The staff promptly received authorizations for tests from my insurance and the doctor gave me samples of a medication which had a high co-pay. I think that anyone who writes a bad review is probably a patient with a grudge who got discharged from the doctor's care!
