I have had six joint replacement surgeries, two required revisions and the third is upcoming. Finding Dr. Ajith Castelino and Direct Access Therapy has been a lifesaver, my pain had never been properly diagnosed, addressed, and solved by previous doctors as well as physical therapists, particularly Gary Tagle. I am a former professional ballet dancer and I have the 'badges of honor' to prove it. Previous doctors missed the boat entirely and I can further attest that up till and including Gary Tagle, P.T. has been the most effective physiotherapist, either in or out of the hospital, as to this date I have been treated by very good, good, and lousy therapists to the tune of no less than fifteen 'professionals'. As a patient, I found Dr. Castelino to be compassionate, thorough, a great listener, as well as educator regarding what he finds. Doesn't seem in the least bit hurried, so while waiting for him, a patient knew s/he will get equally detailed treatment. He also hasa good understanding of real world costs and takes that into consideration when considering treatment. I'd recomment him to anyone needing a physiatrist.
