Dr. Ajitkumar Kemkar, MD

He explains everything easy for me to understand and he's a wonderful doctor. I've been going to him for 10 to 12 years now.

NEW NURSE STAFF VERY COMPASSIONATE AND THOROUGH. EXCELLENT AT DRAWING BLOOD! I AM A VERY HARD TO GET BLOOD FROM. DR KEMKAR IS AMAZING, GREAT LISTNER, VERY CARING AND THOROUGH. HE CARES A LOT FOR HIS PATIENTS.

He was very attentive to my medical records ask a lot of questions to get to know exactly what the problem was and got on the ball immediately to refer me to a specialist he'd never rush through my visit and was very thorough

I first seen Dr Kemkar over 20 years ago. He actually saved my life. He takes his time with his patients, which makes other angry. How ever most come to appreciate it when he is concerned with our health not in a rush to miss anything.

Dr Kemkar is and always has been a very detailed Doctor. He isn't a walk in clinic, he takes time to listen and to ask questions. He saved my life by catching what a walk in clinic Dr failed to see in a blood test result. He called the attending physician at the clinic and let him know of the serious over look he missed. Dr Kemkar is serious about his patients and their health. I give him 5 stars because he takes time to listen

Had an issue that needed an Upper GI. Had the Upper GI and never received a call back on the results. I called after a month of waiting and after being on hold for 20 minutes they came back and told me that the test came back normal. Well, I still had the issue and he never scheduled a follow up visit to pursue other possibilities. I think he is so busy that too many important things are falling through the cracks. I won't be going back.

I send all our friends. He will stop what he is doing and find solutions, wont stop til he gets to the root of the problem

Wait times 1-3 hours after original appointment time. Always over-booked. Poor bedside manner. Have been misdiagnosed. Does not respond to messages in a timely manner. Saw this Dr. 5 times in 4 weeks (after being a patient for 4 years) and he could not remember what he'd been treating me for. Staff does not handle insurance and precertifications properly. Spoken to other patients who have lost thier disability due to Kemkar's staff not handling those requests properly. I have been diagnosed with a possible brain tumor by another physician but Dr. Kemkar refuses to prescribe pain medications while testing is being done and a treatment plan can be reached even though I have never asked for pain medicine ever before, even after suffering a broken leg. Dr. is moody and he is obviously overworked. Doctor never spends enough time examining patients and does not like to answer medical questions. Doctor does not appreciate patients bringing in medical journals or reliable web information to… ask questions. Have never had any other doctor tell me "He doesn't know what to tell me". Had to ask to be referred to a specialist (who incidentally was able to identify the problem immediately) I do not suggest ever visiting this practice. I know I never will again.
