Dr. Ajo Joy, MD

I appreciated the kindness of the staff when I went for my appointment. Dr Joy never smiled or made me feel comfortable. He listened to me with no expression and when I said I was fearful of an MRI he asked me why? I think there are a lot of people who have anxiety about that test. I just didn’t feel like he cared about me. I’m in my 70’s and I guess I was looking for some compassion.

We have great faith in Dr. Joy. His knowledge of stokes has been most helpful in the recovery. Our favorite doctor. Feel like is family when taking care of me. He is the best and we are so thankful he is our doctor.

Since being diagnosed with MS, Dr Joy has been very caring and thorough. I would and have recommended him to others. Love the staff here. Especially Melissa, Pat and Gabby.

We moved here from another area of the country. Dr Joy was able to fill the shoes of 2 of the specialists we had there, neuro and physiatry. That alone was a plus, but he is easy to be with and talk to, very quick to grasp a situation, and prompt. His staff is also wonderful. My stroke survivor husband needed an evaluation and follow up for it. We heard the results of the evaluation and had our follow up appointment after only 2 days. Same process in our old area took a month. I am impressed and would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Terrific doctor who knows you and your condition without having to check his records. Always puts you at ease and listens even during difficult times. For 3 years I have had " The Best Care ". Even took the time to help me locate a Primary physician not only with names but details about each doctor. I recommended Dr. Joy to a Co-Worker who raved about him and his staff. More patients would write here if they knew about site I am sure. I located this site by accident looking up address while being out of state.

Dr. Joy really listens and takes time with the patients. He is very respectful even with tough symptoms.

I had been to a number of different doctors for migraines and relief of neck and shoulder pain. Dr. Joy took the time to truly listen to my history and asked my opinion on what I wanted to try. Before starting me on medication, he wanted to rule out certain things first. I am now pain free for the first time in years and owe it all to him!I also appreciate the fact that I can call the office and get in the same day if needed - Thank you for caring!!!

First of all my mother laughed within 20 seconds of meeting him, thats just her, he said why are you laughing, acted like he was getting laughed at. She has alsheimers. At the end he stood right in her face and took his fingers and started tapping on her face and saying remarks to his student making her feel like a subject of discussion. She was in tears when we left and are not going back. An alsheimers patient needs encouragement and spoke to nice, he has no business treating alsheimers patients.

First thing when he comes in the room my mother starts laughing and he says whats so funny, grimly like hes being laughed at. She is just a laughy per ...
