Dr. Akemi Lynn Nakanishi, MD

Dr. Nakanishi is awesome. I have been seeing her for 6 years now. She is very easy to talk to, calm and answers all my question. But on the other hand, the wait time is an average 30-45 mts and her staff is not very helpful. I took the first appointment at 8am so, I could be seen on time and can return to work . I waited for 20mts & then asked the front desk if Dr. Nakanishi was in yet . The front desk informed that she will be arriving anytime soon. Another 15 mts goes by and I ask again , then they make a call and inform me that I have to re-schedule. But they were not courteous in informing till I inquired. In fact, they were talking among themselves about me enquiring for second time without realizing I could hear them over.

I love Dr Nakanishi, but really, ALL the doctors here have been awesome! Sometimes the wait is long (if the dr you are seeing is "on call") but it is sooooo worth the wait to get the best care :)

Dr. Nakanishi is a great doctor! I used to have fears of visiting gynecologist but she is so friendly and calm that it takes all of that fear away. The wait time is kind of long and it can be hard to schedule an appointment in a timely manner, but it is well worth it!

Dr. Nakanishi always has such a pleasant smile almost as if she never has a bad day & her sweet voice and demeanor eases all your concerns. I've been a patient in this practice for over 3 years and not only does she explain everything thoroughly, is very knowledgeable & accomodating, but when she is running behind she's always very apologetic. I highly recommend her to anyone, whether for ob or gyne care; just keep in mind that since she is very thorough, there's a little longer wait.

Can't imagine going anywhere else for ob-gyne care! All the doctors are fantastic and knowledgable, and I've never had a bad experience in the 13 years I've been going there. Keep up the good work!
