Dr. Alan Lee Martin, MD

Asked “why are you here?” as he walked in. Should have clued me in. Lazy and rude.

My experience with Dr. Martin is very positive. I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. He is very accommodating and takes the time to listen. The diagnosis and treatment is precisely what other similar specialists have recommended, and 100% consistent with the medical literature. Maybe the outlook of mostly incurable conditions, the constant pain, and Dr. Martin's more introverted personality are not a perfect mix for some patients, but I would rather consult a cool head than be offered smiles and false hopes.

Do not bothet

He seems irritated and angry you're even in the office. Missed my diagnosis. He is making a fat living for doing nothing and appears to enjoy making patients feel belittled. Stay away if you want to be treated like a human being. Stay away if you are ill and need medical care.

Martin is cold and uncaring..... Bad enough. Just came back from an eval at the mayo clinic. Really mishandled my case. Should have had me on me attests, but moved me to expensive biologics. Please stay away for your own health. Can't help but wonder about his relationship with the drug companies.

I concur with the reviews posted: arrogant, uncaring Doctor. Has very poor bedside manner, and seems indifferent to patient pain. Is a poor listener. Not sure his clinical judgment is sound.

Worst doctor to ever be licensed to practice medicine. Condesending, told my wife she didn't have RA basically that it we in her head. Then tests came back positive with deteriorating hand and finger joints. Told her she has to wait until next appointment in two months to get any treatment. Until then she is l left to suffer in pain! Needless to say we are looking for another doctor.

The below review from a doctor states that he or she had recently seen dr alan martin, but i believe that this review was mistakenly written for the wrong doctor. I have been a patient of dr alan martins for several years. I have always found him to be direct and very helpful throughout my care. He has never dictated in front of me nor my family that I have attended appointments with. Also, he is not a new doctor. He has been practicing for over 20 years. Dr Martin is very forward and to the point. He always runs on time and his staff is very helpful.

I have never walked away from a doctor feeling so frustrated before. He made me feel like I was bothering him by being in his office and asking questions. I felt like we were not speaking the same language and walked away confused as to my diagnosis. He did not act like he cared about me at all; he literally used the phrase "not my problem." Made me feel like I was wasting his time.

This is the worst doctor I have ever seen. He can't stand questions!
