Dr. Alan Wallace Mcinnes Jr, MD

Dr McInnes did a lower bleph on me. I did check him out as much as I could. I contacted some docs in Utah but given McInnes' experience which is crucial for surgeons I gave him a try. The results were good to me though my wife thought he made my eyes too small. Dr McInnes is not suited for patient interactions and was very angry with me at surgery time because there was an error over cost, my error. Pre surgery I could see he was really mad, staring at me and not wanting to talk. His front desk staff, MAs were fine. Office manager was a jerk. I would not use him again and should have done more in office consultations. My results are literally not bad and overall fine if that does not sound contradictory. I think he is awkward with people so I think some would not appreciate that. He is not great but not incompetent IMHO. I think that is why best to get other opinions, he simply might not be good at all surgeries.

I was referred to Dr. McInnes by my dermatologist for cholesterol deposits underneath my eyes. We also discussed an upper eyelid or blepharoplasty surgery to correct visual impairment from my drooping eyelids. Once completed, my dermatologist commented that Dr. McInnes stitching was so intricate, that he could not tell what he had done. An unexpected benefit from the blepharoplasty is that my migraines have significantly diminished. I look like a younger version of myself and not a Hollywood persona. I would highly recommend Dr. McInnes for any reconstructive or corrective surgery.

EXCELLENT, patient, knowledgeable, friendly doctor and staff! They truly went above and beyond to ensure I was comfortable and happy with my results. I have a little bit of an eyelid droop and would like to have surgery one day by Dr.McInnes, but for now we are using Botox injections to add a little lift to the eyebrows. I love my results and his technique.

I was a teenager in Los Angeles, before sunscreen, so now in my 70's I'm having skin cancers and MOHS procedures, where they take layers until they get a sample that is free of basal cells. Dr. McInnis did the repair the day after my dermatologist did four layers off my lower eyelid -- I had lost a half inch of the eyelid margin (edge) and the size of a penny, off my cheek. Wow, what a fabulous job he did. He used several techniques -- strong stitches in the skin below the outer surface, and then several techniques to swirl enough skin around on the outer layer. It's been a few months now and I'm amazed the both eyes have the same appearance at the margin and also the skin underneath my eye. When I smile, the skin under my eyes naturally wrinkles -- both sides equally. He is very talented, and also very gentle and kind. When I had returned after a few weeks to have stitches taken out, he did it himself, very gently. He and his staff are kind souls. I highly recommend them… without hesitation.

Dr. McInnes has been doing my Botox treatments every three months, as well as removing a small cyst I had for years! I cannot say enough nice things about him and his staff, they have always been so kind and friendly. I have referred many friends and even family to Dr. McInnes and all of them have had nothing but great things to say! I would recommend him and his staff to everyone!!

I was very pleased with Dr. McInnes and his staff when I had a reoccurring hydrocystoma, that has been removed twice. The staff and the doctor are committed to excellent patient care! I would recommend Dr. McInnes to friends and family, he is an excellent doctor.
