Dr. Albert Knuth, MD

Very unhelpful, basically scared us off with some medevil device.

Dr. Knuth's commitment to his patients is second only to his love of his family. He makes ensures to include everyone to help families feel at ease, always informative & kind.

Dr Knuth .. There is no better .. We started with him after a broken hand .. The next 2 years consisted of severe achilles injury , broken leg and shattered thumb . All I can say he us the reason our son can walk . He is the only Dr our son trust . He is not only a great as a dr and he always listened to our son . All we can say dont go anywhere else . And we would say the same for Ken in PT.. There are not many drs like him out there.

Our 7 year old daughter fell off her bike and broke her arm at the elbow . He was swift to step into action in the ER. He explained everything in detail about the surgery . He was very kind and made my daughter feel safe . After we had been home we needed help in the middle of the night . He not only was there for answers, but called back every 3 hours for a full day to check on us and our daughter . Made us feel like we were in great hand and care . Very dedicated doctor who is very knowledgeable .

Dr. Knuth was very helpful with my two children...one with broken arm and the other with knee issue. Excellent!

He is more interested in doing research than treating patients. He likes to treat patients that will help him with research and who have money to pay for research

My experience with Dr. Knuth was outstanding. I broke two bones in my ankle and he led me through the process for healing step by step. He was always upbeat and professional. He reminded me that the healing process may take a little longer as I have diabetes. I would recommend Dr. Knuth to anyone who asked for an opinion. Thank you Dr. Knuth, job well done.

Dr. Knuth took the time to speak with us by phone (at length) sometimes after hours to discuss our daughter's progress, the results of her tests and next steps. He was honest when he was unsure if a particular course of treatment would work and worked with us to develop a conservative treatment plan that took our daughter's competitive sport and her particular needs into consideration. When he was stumped, he asked his colleagues for input. He took her concerns seriously and didn't do it 'to' her, but rather 'with' her. If you are looking for a caring pediatric orthopedist who listens to his pediatric patient as well as their parents, this is your guy.

I took my daughter to Doctor Knuth after another orthopaeic group, two miles to the east, with several pompous physicians who clearly loved their work (not), diagnosed her with osteochondritis dessicans but did nothing, it seemed, to follow up on that. Three MRIs of the same knee within two months later, I got fed up and spoke to a nurse neighbor of mine who told me I'd be wasting my time seeing any other area orthopedist not in Doctor Knuth's group. She was right on. He is a caring, excellent physician who gave my daughter a treatment plan and told her she must refrain from running for about 6 weeks. It would have been nice if the other group could have at least mentioned this. It's a sad reality that one must visit a lot of duds before he/she finds somebody with whom he/she is comfortable, paying all the while for wasted visits by marginally engaged providers who seem to give a cr-p about the patient. Doctor Knuth restored my faith in orthpedic surgeons.
