Dr. Albert John Phillips, MD

I was referred to Dr Phillips by Dr Hamilton, my son's pediatrician. I could not get pregnant for 2 years. Once I transferred to Dr Phillips he diagnosed issue within 1st appointment. I started treatment and got pregnant within 2nd cycle. And for the record, he really tried to avoid expensive IVFs and supported and promoted natural pregnancy the entire time even though we were leaning towards IVF. There were other road blocks along the way, but Dr Phillips was always very caring, detailed, called us with results as soon as they became available, was available by phone, email and all my results were available in your chart right away. His nurses are also great and very caring. Dr Phillips referred me to best specialists when needed and performed one of the OB surgeries very well. I got pregnant within 2 cycles. He is on staff at St John's hospital, not sure if at UCLA. He is the best doctor I've had. I highly recommend him for your fertility, pregnancy or baby delivery.

Does not care about his patients.

He is very detailed and patient and genuinely cares and loves his patients. I delivered my first baby with him and highly recommend him. He was very involved which I loved and always answered my questions without making me feel like he had to go to his next patient. Unfortunately, we moved so I am sad I need to find another doctor for my next baby because he is the BEST of the BEST! Highly recommend him!

I have been seeing Dr Phillips every year for my yearly check up for 22 years. He delivered my son. He is the best doctor.

When I came to Dr. Phillips, I was on my last nerve. I had previously had a botched hysterectomy resulting in numerous painful and complicated surgeries. I came into his office with yet another complication that other doctors had never seen and neither had he. He promised me at the first visit that he would figure it out, but I had been promised this before with no results. He consulted with specialists in the field, ran tests, and after some exploratory surgery, he solved the problem. He held my hand through this complicated process and constantly reassured my husband and myself. He answers email immediately, always got on the phone to speak to me and called me with my test results the day they came in. I give him the highest praise for going above and beyond to help me.

I had been having problems for soooo long and until I was referred to Dr. Phillips were they solved! He was extremely caring and took as much time needed to explain everything to me. His follow up was genuine and professional. I am so happy I finally found a great doctor!

Either really hates fat people, or dislikes that I am close to menopause and would not be using him for obstetrics. Was unconcerned about a 39-day period. Was unconcered that I fainted from loss of blood. Never menioned iron supplements to ward off aenemia. Made me feel ashamed of asking for more information, and treated me like a nuisance.

He assisted my son's birth 21 years ago, it was exactally on a 4 of July. I am expecting my second child and Dr. Phillips is going to be one who will do the delivery, one more time. He is the ultimate professional and a beautiful human being.

Billing staff is rude and unprofessional.
