Dr. Alvarez is an okay doctor if you don't have a problem. When I presented my concerns to her–breakthrough bleeding while on birth control, an overactive bladder, and firmness around the pelvis (that she noted herself), her recommendation was that I get off the pill and use condoms. After I became disappointed with her poor treatment and problematic recommendations, I saw another doctor who IMMEDIATELY suspected that I have a huge fibroid, which was later confirmed by an ultrasound. I spent years with Dr. Alvarez, never missed an annual wellness exam, and she missed this huge problem. Any doctor in this field should have suspected this prevalent problem, especially after noting all of my symptoms.

Dr. Alvarez-Wilson is wonderful! She is always calm and caring and truly listens to your needs and concerns. She delivered my 2 baby and I could t be happier with her!

Dr. Alvarez was a true professional. She respected me and listened to me, her bedside manner was impeccable. I will definitely recommend this Dr. to my friends and family.

Did not like that she told my teenage daughter her weight was causing irregular menstrual cycle. She is less than 20 lbs overweight and I don't think that is a good thing to say to a teenage girl at all. Also Dr. ordered a vaginal ultrasound for my daughter without explaining it to her or me. By the time I got there, they were finished. This is not a test that I would recommend for a teenage girl.
