Finest Doctor I have ever known -- brilliant too

Dr. Di Rocco is at once a widely knowledgeable neurologist for PD and a deeply caring human being. He is thorough (never, ever rushes) and does not simply examine by the numbers but by the total person's personality and mood. One visit with him went a full hour with precise explanations for what was transpiring. He includes partners in the process, which is so essential with PD. It's a busy practice by virtue of his impressive talents, but he is worth waiting for. For nearly nineteen, years he has kept my spouse going with PD. A true medical find to whom we are endlessly grateful.

First appt he was over 90 minutes late, which I completely understood. Second appt he was not late. After waiting for months to get the third appt, I was not called as promised by his assistant with a day and time. Rather, I got an automated message after 7 pm telling me that I had an appt in a day and a half. I had not been told of this, but called the next day to ask/confirm. I have a very busy schedule, and rearranged several things to make the morning appt. I was running about 20-25 minutes late for this appt, and called his assistant. She kept me on hold for several minutes while she spoke to him, then told me that the dr "only allows for 20 minutes late" and would not see me that day. This appt took months to make, I was not notified that I had the appt until essentially 1 business day beforehand by an automated recording, rearranged my schedule to keep the appt, and he would not see me. This, after my waiting for him over 90 minutes for the first appt without any complaint. He… seems very good, but this is unacceptable to me.
