Alexander Andre, PT

Alexander Andre, PT, DPT, is a doctor of physical therapy with MSU Health Care Physical and Occupational Therapy. He earned his Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences and holds a bachelor’s degree in sports studies with a focus on human movement sciences from St. Bonaventure University.


Andre provides care for a wide range of conditions from common muscle and joint injuries to more complex and specialized needs. He emphasizes evidence‑based care and individualized treatment plans designed to support each patient’s goals and recovery. His clinical interests include sports and orthopedic injuries; low back, hip, and core dysfunction; and helping patients safely return to daily activities, work and sports. He places particular focus on the role of deep core muscles in building a strong stable foundation for long-term movement and function.


With advanced training in Tender Point Dry Needling and expertise in the external …treatment of pelvic floor dysfunction, Andre uses manual techniques in conjunction with therapeutic exercise to improve muscle function and support recovery. He works with patients experiencing bladder control concerns related to pregnancy, childbirth, and prostate surgery. He also evaluates and treats a variety of spine and joint conditions.


Andre is licensed to practice physical therapy in both Michigan and Virginia and is committed to ongoing continuing professional development to ensure high-quality and up-to-date patient care.
