Dr. Alexander Alfonso Chang, MD

Doctor Chang at his new private practice has been long awaited. (Old previous reviews mostly complained about the poor management of his old former clinic) His new practice is fully staffed with helpful and friendly team ! Scheduling is such a breeze, and Dr.Chang answers back promptly regarding my issues. Dr. Chang is so easy to talk with and the clinic feels so clean and bright. Highly Recommend!

I am an existing patient, and I have been trying to schedule an appointment for the past week. Everytime I call I am forwarded to their "answering" service - people who take down information and apparently fax it to god knows where. I left three different messages with the answering service and did not hear back on any of them. The receptionist is the gateway between me and my caretaker - I do not feel confident in their ability to be their in my time of need and will likely change my PCP due solely to whomever is answering the phones. I hope their boss reads this. If you want to slack off, work at Starbucks, not somewhere where people are trusting you with their health.

My daughter had to find a new physician since she had aged out of her pediatrician's office. Huge mistake going here. While Dr. Chang is pleasant and wants to be helpful, within one month, this practice took my daughter offer ADD medication, prescribed her with something for anxiety and her grades have fallen drastically. When she was to return for her follow-up visit, her appointment was canceled because the doctor was not in. No offer for someone else to see her. Instead of listening to my daughter and her pediatrician, they sent her to numerous doctors and she is back to square one. She will not be back to this practice and I would never recommend them to anyone. She has lost an entire semester of college due to their knee jerk reaction. STAY AWAY!!!!!

Dr. Chang is a caring, skilled physician. He is invariably courteous and thoughtful. He takes a good deal of time with each patient. I am happy to have found such a fine MD.
