Very thorough assessment of a failing knee implant requiring revision surgery. The revision surgery procedure required was explained in detail as well as the risks. Careful assessment of the status of the failure including withdrawal of a fluid sample from the knee for the possible presence of infection was performed. The appointment resulted in a good understanding of the status of the knee & the best plan of action.

Dr. DeHaan provided immediate diagnosis of my hip bursitis without the need for an MRI. Treatment options were discussed in detail. It was a very positive consultation where all my questions and concerns were answered.

Appointment with Dr was for a left hip redo, (he was not involved with the first surgery). Dr explained the X-rays, then outlined the problem. He then explained his plan to correct the problem. During the X-ray review, he made sure I understood the problem and if I had any questions. He answered every question I had.

Dr. DeHaan has replaced my right in Marchv2024, and total left knee replacement in September 2024. Then, are received frostbite from an ice pack my husband made too cold. Dr. Dehaan did emergency surgery December this year. Dr. DeHaan is the only orthopedic joint specialist I will let take care of me. Dr. DeHaan is professional, courteous, kind, caring and understanding. He listens to his patients, and IS AN AMAZING SURGEON!
