Dr. Alexander Charles Garber, MD

Dr. Garber is my third surgeon. I had surgery on both my shoulders prior to meeting him. Both surgeons were great but they were trying newer techniques at the time and both failed. Medicine has come a long way since. I had severly limited use of my left arm and was cautiously using my right arm. Prior to both surgeries, we talked and he listened. I explained my symptoms and what it felt like. He explained to me causes in great detail and reasons for feeling what I felt at the time. He said he would do the open surgery if I wanted to, but asked to give him a chance to repair and redo the arthroscopic surgery. I said yes. He was confident in his experience. I am one year post op on the left side and it feels great. I still hesitate on doing certain things because my shoulder was destroyed, but I find myself being more confident in everything day by day. The right side is also doing great. Being that I caught that one early, it was a better recovery. I am extremely greatful I said yes and… feel like I'm moving in the right direction again. Very good and so far satisfied. It’s only been 2 weeks since surgery but nearly no pain at all. Started pt yesterday. I will follow orders and take my time and don’t rush or push too much and the end results should be great

Confidence. That's what I feel after seeing Dr. Garber. Confident that he will provide his full attention and that he knows his stuff. I have been d=seeing him for various reasons over the last 9 years and I have never left feeling that I didn't have a clear path to recovery. Sometimes it's pain management, sometimes its PT, and sometimes it's surgery. We go through the options and what's the best course of action.

Dr. Garber recently performed a shoulder replacement surgery on my left shoulder, this about a month ago from this review. He and his team are very professional, knowledgeable, and caring. The chronic pain caused by osteoarthritis is gone, improving the quality of my life instantly. I am in the process of PT now and my recovery, as well as my shoulder mobility are improving fast.

Dr. Alexander Garber is knowledgeable and is very good at what he does. I was sent to him by my PCP after being injured at work. I could not even lift my arm up. It just hung there after I was injured. . He had to reattach my bicep my tricep and perform major surgery on my rotator cuff. I ended up having full recovery able to lift weights help people and have a normal healthy use of my Hand and arm Most of all I was able to lift up my granddaughter. The first time I was able to do that. It made me cry with Joy. I’m grateful for his knowledge and his capabilities of restoring full use of my arm I was amazed with minimal Scarring. He’s always polite, answers all questions and shows his knowledge of the work that he is going to have to do. He’s thorough in his evaluation with x-rays, MRIs and physical therapist. He did such a great job On my shoulder and arm that When I needed to get my left arm, checked a few years later my left shoulder needed surgery, And I knew exactly where to go… thank you for doctors that are so dedicated as he to their patients
