Dr. Alexander Leroy Lambert, MD

Be very careful when choosing Dr. Lambert as your surgeon when taking your recovery into consideration. I had a tear in my labrum which was repaired and after 2 years when finally going back to normal activity, my shoulder dislocated again. This made me very upset to the point I didn't even know if I wanted the surgery again after all of the time and not to mention MONEY that was spent on this procedure. I then went back to see Dr. Lambert to ask what I could do, and he says, "I can't make you indestructible, surgery is the only option". I was irritated that I was told I can go back to normal activity but yet jumping for a football causes my shoulder to come out. I went to a new orthopedic surgeon and the process was phenomenal. I'm not the type of person to write reviews but just thought I needed to help others going through the same thing.

Went in for knee exam, Dr. Lambert ordered MRI, results were level two tear of acl and mcl. He recommended immediate surgery. Research says otherwise, I stated that I wanted to do a let’s see what recommended walking and biking results are. He got up from chair and walked out. No good luck, I recommend PT etc. stunned by this action. Saw someone else, he recommended walking and biking, guess what, knee is so much better now.

Dr. Lambert has helped me with a few ortho problems and also has worked with my children. Very nice man, great bedside manner. Excellent physician, he has helped me with a shoulder, hip, and hand and did a great job with all three.

Be very careful if you choose to use Dr. Lambert for orthopedic surgery. He used what he termed an "aggressive" treatment post-surgery, which included an immobilizing sling rather than one that permitted movement. My husband still has incredible shoulder pain 4 years after surgery.

Dr. Lambert was extremely courteous and profession. He diagnosed my issue fast and then we discussed how to treat it. He spent a great deal of time with me.
