Dr. Alexander Wessel

I was pinned under a work truck on Dec.11,2019 (at 67 yrs young) resulting in a broken pelvis, a ruptured illiac artery, and stressed ab and thigh muscles on my left side. I was taken to Penrose hospital where I had emergency surgery for the ruptured artery and first met Dr. Wessel. He said I had an "open book" pelvic injury and required surgery the next day. After surgery he came to me and said the he put a plate and 8 screws in the front of my pelvis and one large screw in my hip. I was impressed with him from the first meeting. He was very knowledgeable, confident, and personable. I saw him for 9 months and know he was a God send for me. I am fully recovered now and Dr. Wessel's excellent care was a major Blessing in my life. I would recommend him to anyone, friend or family needing his expertise.

Dr. Wessel helped me greatly in my time of need! I was in a car accident in December 2022, and I needed surgery on my heel as it had been crushed. Dr. Wessel was very informative, compassionate and encouraging, and of course skilled, which greatly helped me in my healing. I highly recommend Dr. Wessel!
