Dr. Alfred Marc Solish, MD

I was referred to Dr Solish by my opthalmologist because of a spike I had in eye pressure following cataract surgery. I had an 11:00 appointment and was called to be seen at 11:45. What followed was the most thorough exam I have ever had. The doctor and his staff went to great lengths to explain procedures and did not rush any portion of my exam. The doctor's evaluation and his drug prescriptions resulted in the abatement of a problem that had perplexed my excellent optalmologist for three weeks. If you are in a hurry and just want to get in and out of the office, Dr Solish is not for you. If you value your eyesight and want to continue to see for a long time to come, Dr Solich should be your first choice. And, contrary to some of the reviews I saw on this sight, Dr. Solish is really very personable and easy to talk to.

My mother is 80. She was prescribed by Dr Solish, Lumigan eye drops. These eye drops are 400.00 . When I her daughter protested that she needed much cheaper drops. Since here co-pays is almost 100.00, I was met with rude office workers who insisted, she needed these drops and her pharmacy was trying to over price them. When her pharmacist, in the presence of my sister spoke to the head of Dr. Solish office (Bea) they were told my mother had been on these drop and they worked. My mother had been on no drops because we weren't given samples. The office manager new this detail and had kept a log of the numerous times I called and asked for the prescription to be changed to the cheaper drops the pharmacy had recommended. I was told I have been rude, that this was written down!! I am frustrated. The Dr. obviously gets some kind of deal by pushing these expensive drops. He is the only specialist in our valley. Please heed this warning. They are not above lying to keep your business.Never… again

Dr. Solish gave my husband an immediate and accurate diagnosis and the solution. He spent his time explaining the medical situation to us both in a class with other patients and individually. We are very appreciative to him for his medical professionalism and insight! Dr. Solish has a long history in this field, including his history as a Professor at the Jules Stein Institute at UCLA according to his briefing on his background. We valued his insights. Very helpful!

Finally a doctor who takes the time to listen and explain your problems and solves them!!

The minute we walked in the office it all started with the staff, very very rude, unprofessional, don't have any communication skills. Waiting time at least 3 hours which we were not told in advance, if you plan on going to this horrible office plan on staying all day. Staff and waiting time was so bad didn't even stay to see the doctor even though we made this appointment 2 1/2 months ago. Only will see new patients on tuesdays at 11am. Run don't even think about coming here.

This is the most arrogant, nasty, horrible bedside manners I have ever experienced for (supposed) to be such a good an excellent Dr, as he brags on himself and count the number of surgeries he has performed and the many places he's traveled over the world, his bottom line is $$$$$$$$! Actually he doesn't deserve any star at all.!!!!

worst experience ever - I saw Dr. Emily Cook - she didn't know what she was talking about - I think she is confused herself. I didn't know how to run out of the office
