Dr. Alfredo Jorge Jaume, MD

Dr. Jaume should no longer be a practicing physician. He dismisses any concerns that are raised to him and does not order any follow up testing regarding anything. There are outrageous waiting times for his exams to last no longer than 15 minutes. My grandmother was a patient of his for years. I raised numerous concerns about a consistent cough and his resolution was for her to sleep upright. I took the initiative to change my grandmothers PCM and she took quick action. She changed her medication and requested further testing be done to be on the safe side. I felt heard and like I am not crazy. Through further tests and scans, my grandmother has been diagnosed with Lung Adenocarcinoma. I question and ask myself if Dr. Jaume would have taken action and not only listen and care for our concerns, but done his job, would we be here? Would this cancer have been caught at an earlier stage? Overall, I do NOT recommend anyone see him and if you are an established patient, request a transfer!

I trust Dr. Jaume implicitly and have recommended him to many people throughput the years.

Tried to cause my death by prescribing gluten and dairy meal replacements. He referred me to a bariatric surgeon for meal replacements. I have Celiac & a severe fatal allergic reaction to dairy, which he knows and diagnosed. Also, I had a valid concern about new thyroid meds and possible adverse reaction. Instead of addressing my concerns, this doctor released me from his care. Breaking continuity of care is cause for a medical board complaint, which I intend to file. I don't recommended this doctor because he doesn't take time with his patients & prescribes treatments that are life-threatening to people with Celiac Disease and allergic tendencies. Profound medical malpractice. Profound lack of care for his patients. I was a patient for many years with this Dr and he should have been familiar with my family conditions. On review of medical file, he also had numerous don't diagnoses on my chart that I do not have. Patient beware!!!! Do yourself a favor and choose another doctor. The… staff is rude and doesn't relay accurate messages to the doctor.
