Dr. Ali Keshavarzian, MD

I have seen Dr. Keshavarzian for a few years now due to Ulcerative Colitis, an Ileostomy and some chronic post-op complications. He is attentive, thorough, and it is so obvious that he cares deeply for his patients. He is a fantastic advocate for his patients and makes sure they get the medical tests and treatments they need. I would highly recommend him!

He's the best gastroenterologist that I have ever had. I have had 4-5 others and none compare. I trust him with my life.

I went to Dr. Kash from a referral of a close friend who suffered from CD for years and recently had 3 children successfully with Dr. Kashâ??s help. My CD was quite for a very,very long time but came back with full force without warning in April. When this came back I was not expecting it at all and was in a bit of shock. I found myself in a room with Dr. Kash who listened to everything I said for over an hour. He took time with me and listened to personal exciting things that where going on in my life (relationship etc) and he talked about how he could help me manage through the issues without a lot of disruption. He has been the first person who ever has said to me "you have a chronic illness, my job is to get you through the bad times and I will fix this, it will be ok". Within the time I left his office to returning home, I had a 2 other offices call me to get me in to see me immediately because he asked for a favor. This Dr. really wants to help his patients and listens. He… gets it and will help you. I feel lucky that I found a Dr. that is so respected. He deserves to be at the top of the list at Rush. Heâ??s extremely respected by the other Dr. there.

I went to several physicians and no one, I mean no one, could figure out what was wrong with me. In the meanwhile, I was getting sicker and sicker. Dr Keshavarzian saw me and was able to diagnose my problem within weeks. I soon began treatments and was on my way to recovery. He is really a genius and is such a kind, compassionate person as well. A unique doctor!

I have been a patient of Dr. Kesh's since 1996. He and the staff at RUSH's Gastroenterolgy dept. are the best in their field. You will not find a more courteous or caring group of medical professionals.

Dr. Kesh is the best of the best.

This is rating the Skokie office, as it is easier to get an appt. there. However, Dr. Kesh is worth waiting to see if the Chicago office is chosen. He is thorough, patient, and compassionate. He is all that one wants in a specialist.
