Dr Ali-Musa R Jaffer, MD

Dr. Jaffer received his MD degree from the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Tampa. He completed a Neurology Residency, serving as Academic Chief Resident, and a Clinical Neurophysiology Fellowship at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine. Dr. Jaffer was most recently at the rank of Assistant Professor at the University of Florida-Jacksonville, Department of Neurology.Dr. Jaffer's interests are in clinical neurology and neurophysiology. He will focus on the diagnosis and management of onco-neurological complications of immunotherapies and other complications of systemic cancer or its treatment. As an electrophysiologist he focuses on seizures, other brain diseases and neuromuscular diseases.His research interests include the use of electroencephalogram (EEG) and electromyography (EMG) as clinical tools to investigate onco-neurological complications of cancer-related treatments, including autoimmune neuropathies, myopathies, and disorders of …the neuromuscular junction.
