I was a 21 year old single parent who had just delivered a beautiful baby girl. Dr. Chen was aware of my situation and through this whole experience I was asked if I wanted to keep my baby or put her up for adoption. Seconds after I had her I was asked by Dr. Chen about the baby's father and his intentions. Really?!!! Well, guess what? My amazing daughter is a strong and gifted Special Education Teacher who was brought up with strong values and I thank god everyday for the blessing I received. Shame on you Dr. Chen!!!!! Please think before you speak!

Would recommend anyone who is pregnant to see dr.chen. She was very helpful, and was there for every part of my pregnancy and delivery. Was available for questions at all times of the day (even in the middle of the night). Makes you feel very comfortable and has a great sense of humor ... which helps when you're tense during delivery!

Dr Chen took over my care when I moved to the Chicago area and was pregnant with my first child. She was highly recommended by the MDs I work with. Her staff are all wonderful, especially Delores (receptionist). Dr Chen spent as much time with me as I needed, answered all of my questions, dealt with my nerves after multiple pregnancy losses and made me feel very comfortable. She called me with all of my results herself, and returned all of my calls very quickly. My delivery was not easy but she was patient, explained all of our options, included my husband in the conversations and let us make the decisions that were right for us. I am so excited to be seeing her again soon for my first appointment with baby #2!

Im a huge fan of Dr Chen.. im 34yrs old have two children but with my first she was amazing, i was sad that my INS Changed that i could not see her anymore.. but now i have a INS that she takes and cannot wait.. Dr. CHEN IS awesome and shes not forgetful and you can understand her very well any negative remarks must have been because there hormones were high... I cant wait to see her again and planing my 3rd child hopefully.

I had a very positive experience with Dr Chen with the delivery of my second child. She was attentive and quick to take care of me during my hospital stay. However, I feel as though her professionalism in the office could be better. She forgets things she says and talks so fast that it is hard to even understand her. I have been struggling with birth control for the past 4 months and she has not been very proactive in helping me choose a therapy. I am overall very disappointed.

I couldn't say enough good things about Dr. Chen. She made me comfortable and at ease during my first pregnancy, involved my husband and kept him interested, and stayed at the hospital during my entire 18 hour labor with the exception of her office hours early when I wasn't close to delivering. I was shocked when I found out she was still there at night. She spends time on a personal level making sure you understand everything and are comfortable with the experience. When not pregnant, she is just as helpful and friendly. It is not often you find doctors like her these days!

Dr. Chen and her staff are wonderful! I had previously gone to a large practice with 6 physicians at Northwestern Hospital and found the experience impersonal. When I had questions or results the physician never called back herself. I found the whole experience less than desirable.When I made the switch to Dr. Chen after seeing her scores on vitals, I found the exact opposite. She and her staff remember me each time I call or visit. Dr. Chen herself answers all follow up questions (with in 5-10 minutes she will call back, no joke!) and delivers all results. For a first time pregnancy its great because she insists you call with ANY questions and will never make you feel bad for paging her. When we have appointments she makes sure our questions are all answered. She also makes sure my husband feels very involved as well including him in all discussions.I was extra excited when I told my cousin, who worked as an RN in L & D at Lutheran, that Dr. Chen was my doctor and she had… nothing, but good things to say. She said that would be the physician all the L & D nurses choose! Mainly because she will come to the hospital as soon as you call and say you are in labor, then stay (even sleep there) till you deliver. I guess the other physicians pretty much just pop in when you are ready to push.Overall, I am really happy and can't wait for the birth of our baby girl with Dr. Chen!

I had a great time being Dr. Chan's patient. She offers excellent care and she is a great physician. This was my first pregnancy and she took care of me and guided me through. I will go back there again with my next pregnant. Front desk - Dolores is awsome and the nurses and the ultrasound lady. I loved going there!

Met Alice Chen over 10 years ago and would move or travel any distance to see her. Her incredible bedside manner and intellect were key in making me comfortable and diagnosing a problem very early on in my pregnancy. I highly recommend her to friends, family and acquaintances. Her staff is equally pleasant. Now as my daughters reach their teens they are also very comfortable with the Doctor and her Staff. They all get an "A+" in my book!!!!!
