Dr. Alice Hampton Rusk, MD

Like it says, great doctor but the office is managed poorly. 3 months for an appointment? Prescription refills are a marathon event. Receptionist doesn't listen and seems to make decisions on her own-not a pleasant experience. As for the doctor, she is a caring, extremely competent professional.

Dr Rusk is an intelligent listener and an intuitive physician. She gives professional and sympathetic care for Parkinson's Disease patients and once you are under her care it is not difficult to get appointments. She gives the impression of having all the time a patient needs, yet is generally on schedule throughout the day.

DR RUSK LISTENS TO YOU. SHE IS THOUGHTFUL AND MAKES ME FEEL AT EASE. I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE HER AS MY NEUROLOGIST.

Abrupt, cold and nonpuntual. Her staff is equally cold and harsh.

I waited 4-4 weeks to get an appointment. Confirmed it the day before. Arrived 5 minutes early. After waiting over an hour in an empty waiting room - around 4:20 the receptionist left- I left a note on the door and went home. I see why the receptionist processes my co-pay before the appointment, which had never been done before. Awlful experience.

Dr. Rusk is kind, an excellent doctor and has been a tremendous help to our family. I truly cannot thank her enough for the high quality of care that she has given my father who has Parkinsons.
