Dr. Alicia Deanne King, DO

I have never had less than an hour wait time. This is difficult trying to entertain your children while closed in a small room. She does a very narrow exam and then proceedes to chart and not look back at you while she is tied up in the computer. She has left the room for long periods of time. If you send a message you are lucky to get a speedy reply. I've waited weeks and had the issue resolve before ever hearing back from her or the staff. My time is just as valuable as hers and I don't appreciate myself and my family being treated as we are not important to her at the time. I pay a great deal of money just to sit in a room without a doctor, and I'm lucky to get 5 minutes of her time. I removed my family from her care and don't recommend her to others. The other physicians in the office care about one thing MONEY. See patients every 10 mins and block their schedules the finer things in life like sports. I can't imagine anyone is shown or feels they left there receiving good care… and instruction. I also found that when I would pay my copay with cash I would get a bill for the exact amount now owed as if it was never paid. I would be very sceptical of paying cash and make sure you get a receipt, it will come in handy when you get a bill for your copay.

Dr. King was my PCP during my pregnancy with my first born. I encountered some complications and she went above and beyond her responsibility to make sure that I was okay and understood exactly what was going on. She listened to every little concern I had and made me feel important. She also worked at having a great relationship with my husband and daughter after she was born. I was a patient of hers when she was living in the KC area and our family misses her compassion. I also never felt that medication was just being shoved my direction. She always offered a few different courses of action. Wish she still lived in the KC area, but I am sure the people in Troy are grateful to have her care.

This doctor really listens and is very thorough. She's as good as any I've seen for an ailment that requires immediate treatment. BUT if you have a problem that requires on-going treatment I strongly recommend her!!! She keeps up with the latest medical practices and drugs and will work with you.

DR. KING IS THE MOST CARING AND HAS SO MUCH COMPASSION, TREATS YOU LIKE FAMILY!! SO GLAD SHE IS OUR DR. ALL MY FAMILY GOES TO HER AND WE JUST SO GLAD SHE CAME TO TROY!! THANK YOU DR. KING!!! SHE GOES BEYOND THE CALL OF JUST BEING OUR DR. FEELS MORE LIKE A GREAT FRIEND!! SO UNDERSTANDING AND YES FUNNY TOO! SO GLAD SHE IS YOUNG I KNOW SHE WILL BE THERE FOR US FOR ALONG TIME!!!

Dr. King is wonderful. I would recommend her to anyone in need of a primary care physician. She is always very caring and compassionate. One of the things I appreciate the most is the amount of time she is willing to spend with me. I never feel rushed, and always feel like a priority.

Alicia is the primary doctor for both my husband and myself. She is an amazing source of knowledge and never seems bothered if we ask for advice. She listens, and doesn't jump straight to writing a prescription. My husband had bronchitis and she did a series of tests on him and recommended that he not jump right on the antibiotics. That is a good doc who doesn't just write you a prescript and throw you out. She cares about her patients, and has a deep appreciation for what she does.
