Summary
I received by Doctorate of Physical Therapy Degree from Marquette University in 2005 and have been working as a physical therapist in a hospital-based outpatient orthopedic setting since. I am originally from Manitowoc, WI and worked there for a few years before transitioning to working at Froedtert Sports Medicine Center in 2008. I currently live in Fox Point with my husband and two children. I was an athlete when I was younger (not as much as I'd like to be now that my young kids keep me busy), and I enjoy being active and encouraging and helping others to continue to be active and healthy as well.My goal is to help individuals I work with restore a healthy and active lifestyle after dealing with an injury or illness. One of my top priorities is to discover the root cause of dysfunction and to develop an individualized treatment plan along with each of my patients. Identifying an individual's goal(s) and coming up with a plan to reach those goals is one of the most satisfying …parts of my job. I enjoy empowering my patients to take an active role in their recovery and to come up with a plan for treatment that fits their goals and lifestyle.
