Dr. Elizabeth, PT, DPT Schuessler

Elizabeth Schuessler, PT, DPT, is a graduate of Marquette University, where she completed both her undergraduate and graduate studies in physical therapy. Originally from the western suburbs of Chicago, Elizabeth developed a deep appreciation for the city of Milwaukee during her time at Marquette and decided to make it her home. Throughout her physical therapy education, she gained hands-on experience with clinical rotations in various outpatient orthopedic settings, as well as inpatient work on acute care floors and in rehabilitation units within hospital settings.Elizabeth is well-versed in treating a wide range of conditions, including orthopedic issues, neurological deficits, and sports-related injuries. Her diverse clinical experience has equipped her with the skills to provide comprehensive care tailored to each patient’s specific needs. One of the highlights of her training was a clinical rotation at Health In Balance Physical Therapy, where she was inspired by the practice's …holistic approach to care—focusing on treating the whole patient rather than just addressing the immediate injury or deficit. She was particularly drawn to the personalized, one-on-one treatment time given to each individual.Excited to return to Health In Balance, Elizabeth is thrilled to join the team and continue her commitment to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care.
