Dr. Aline Ketefian, MD

To sum it up, Dr. Ketefian was God sent. To break it down, I had Ketefian from the beginning when we started IUI till the end of our IVF journey. We met her when we had no idea what we were getting ourselves into and from day one she broke every single thing down for us and answered all of our questions. By the end of that first consult, we were absolutely pumped and confident we were making the right decision.  It was definitely not an easy journey but she made it bearable. Every interaction with her was positive: She was patient, sweet and always made herself available for us. When things got tough, she shared through our pain and offered alternative ways to approach our situation. Mostly importantly she never gave up and made sure that we didn’t either.  I cannot recommend her enough, I don’t know if we would have lasted as long as we did if it wasn’t for her and thanks to her and her team, we are currently 12 weeks pregnant!

I was a patient of Dr. Ketefian's at Kaiser and then USC Fertility. Mines was a difficult case and I did not have success with IUI. I did IVF with Dr. Ketefian at USC and because of her expertise, knowledge, and patience, I successfully conceived and cannot be any happier. Dr. Ketefian is an amazing doctor with incredible credentials. I am so thankful to have found her.

Dr. Ketefian provided us with amazing care and we cannot be happier with our experience. We did IVF after a few failed inseminations. We conceived with the second transfer. Dr. Ketefian guided us patiently, and intelligently counseled us through each step of the process. Despite the high cost of IVF, we did not feel overly anxious about the process, in large part due to her approach and care. We thank her for guiding us through this journey to parenthood!

Without any reservation, Dr. Ketefian is one of the finest physicians I have ever had. She is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate, kind, and comforting. With the utmost warm demeanor, Dr. Ketefian patiently walked my anxious husband and me through the IVF process, ensuring that we felt comfortable every step of the way. She educated us of the pros and cons, while removing any anxiety we had. She consistently made herself available to answer all of our questions and did so with sincerity and warmth. With some luck and Dr. Ketefian’s skills, I was immediately impregnated after the first implantation. I truly believe that my experience with Dr. Ketefian made all the difference. Her bedside manner helped me stay relaxed and enthusiastic. She modeled her advice to laugh and be in good spirits which kept me optimistic throughout my IVF journey. Dr. Ketefian is a true gem and exceeded any expectation I had about the process. I would highly recommend her to all of my loved ones… and anyone who is experiencing fertility issues. Dr. Ketefian is the ideal physician and we feel so blessed and fortunate to have her as our fertility doctor.

Dr. Ketefian is the absolute best. From the beginning, she has been so knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely caring. I cannot imagine a better doctor to help us through this difficult process. The journey from infertility to pregnancy is an emotional and uncertain one, so we have been incredibly lucky to have Dr. Aline Ketefian on our side. Hands down, she is the most competent and warm specialist we could ask for. After our initial intake with her, she laid out a treatment plan for us that was compatible with our wishes and modified that plan as new test results came in. During every interaction, she patiently answered our questions, checked in with us to make sure we were comfortable with what was happening, and kept us calm during this stressful process. She inspires a great deal of confidence and has great bedside manners! With her help, we welcomed a beautiful baby boy into this world. We recently returned to Dr. Ketefian to have our second child. My wife needed a more aggressive treatment now that she is at an "advance maternal age". Dr. Ketefian listened to our concerns and explained our options. We are now happily pregnant again, and we are eternally grateful to… Dr. Ketefian for our growing family.
