Saw Dr. Nanney in may and was told I was exaggerating my symptoms, couldn't be feeling pain and just needed to get on medication. He wouldn't even go over my MRI with me. Treated me like I was very below him and told me my primary wasn't educated enough to refer me.Had a second opinion yesterday in Denver. I have 3 degenerating discs, bone damage and swelling in my nerves. And a doctor who is actually going to help without putting me on pain meds for life. Stay away of you want to be treated with respect and dignity.

My life has changed! Many thanks to Dr. Nanney and his surgical brilliance. For more than 30 years, I have had chronic back problems and debilitating pain which resulted in 5 back surgeries. All of the procedures were merely a bandaid to the underlying problem. The constant pain was becoming intolerable and l was losing the use of my leg. Dr. Nanney and his surgical team performed a procedure to stabilize my lower back. I am now virtually pain free! With therapy I am regaining the use of my leg. I highly recommend Dr. Nanney and his specialized team for their exceptional knowledge and skill. Both he and his support staff are kind, efficient and give diligent care to their patients.

Dr. Nanney shines on all fronts. He is patient, compassionate, and a very gifted surgeon. I couldn't be happier with the outcome I achieved under his care, and can not recommend him more highly!

Dr. Nanney not only is a skilled neurosurgeon, but is also a caring physician. He took time to answer my many questions before performing micro spine surgery.

He performed surgery on my spine and gave me back control of my legs. As his patient I truly felt like he really cared. His staff was also very responsive and helpful

I came to Dr. Nanney with severe back pain I had been dealing with for years. Him and his staff were incredibly helpful and prompt, as I walked out of my first visit with a spot on diagnosis and a quick turn around for a surgical option. The surgery was extremely successful, and I was monitored and evaluated post-procedure very well. I couldn't have asked for anything more; he has allowed me to return to a normal life with zero issues. I cannot recommend him more highly, amazing doctor.

Dr. Nanney worked with me when I sought a second opinion after being told I needed a 4 vertebrae fusion...without any negative expression he suggested just removing the piece of herniated disc. 6 weeks ago he did just that and i have been pain free since that day. I suggest you see him as soon as you can :)

Great guy - I just chose to go through a different provider for my own reasons. He will probably take care of whatever you need - or maybe not - I have no idea. Sometimes things just dont come together. That doesn't mean you won't have a great experience though

I have worked with Dr. Nanney and his staff to resolve my back issue over several months, resulting in surgery. We worked with some less invasive treatments, but surgery was my choice. I am now 3 weeks post surgery and doing well, with some more recovery to do. Dr. Nanney was great at explaining the surgery so I had no surprises, and it has gone as he explained. Very pleased with the practice.

I recently underwent surgery for removal of a recurrence of astrocytoma in my spinal cord. The location of the tumor required a very delicate surgery to ensure that the nerves operating my hands and arms was not compromised. I am a paraplegic due to the initial surgery (unavoidable, anticipated and performed by another surgeon). To help ensure that this tumor did not return yet again, Dr. Nanney removed part of my spinal cord. Through my recovery which included complications not associated with the surgery, Dr. Nanney has led the medical teams to ensure my successful recovery. I've now returned to work full -time with no additional deficit. Dr. Nanney and his staff have been wonderful during this process - always available for questions or to fill out the tons of insurance and disability paperwork. I am most grateful and highly recommend Dr. Nanney.
